Are red states really red?
Given all I've read on this list and other places when it comes to polling and early voting it occured to me that maybe they're not as red as they appear.

Maybe Texas is going red no matter what, but what about other states that seem to be a lock for shrub?

I've heard it said that a lot of the experts think we'll have one of the highest turnouts in election history. With new voters being registerd at the rates they are, people with cell phones not being polled and other issues, it just seems like maybe most of the polls calling this race a statistical dead heat just seems way off base.

I'm starting to believe that those states we consider a sure red one may not be so.

Maybe on election night we'll see states like TN and a few others go surprisingly blue. Yeah, I know it's hopeful thinking, but then maybe it's not so far out of the realm of possibility given the damage chimp has done.

1. Montana is full of people who hate the PATRIOT act...
and I would not be surprised if some voted against Bush.
