Hey Phone bankers! How about saying this?
I know that today is a big day for phone banking, and it will continue until election day. I'm in California, and I plan on doing my share. We work from a script, but are allowed to go off of it slightly, especially when the voter asks questions.

For those of you in the swing states, where corporate sponsored polls have shown leads for * based on an oversampling of repugs, are you allowed to mention this? I'm worried that it could really depress turnout, which is why they're releasing these rigged polls to begin with. Can you mention some polls show Kerry ahead, and not to assume that * is winning?

I'm not saying that you should tell voters that certain polls are rigged. For one thing, it would open up a whole can of worms when we want to keep our message simple. Just point out that there are other polls that show Kerry ahead. I think this could make a big difference in Wisconsin, Iowa and other swing states. What do you think?

THANKS TO ALL THE GREAT DU VOLUNTEERS OUT THERE!!! WE WILL WIN BECAUSE OF YOU!!!
