My local paper endorses Bush
To be sure, President George W. Bush's first term in office has disappointed this newspaper on several important fronts, from out-of-control spending practices to lackluster environmental policies.
Yet, for all that, we believe -- given the choice between him and Democratic challenger Sen. John Kerry -- President Bush is the candidate to vote for come Election Day. That's because he took hard, decisive action after this nation suffered the worst attack in its history in 2001. And, at every turn, he has made it abundantly clear he will do everything in his power to protect America from those who would do it harm.

Kerry has failed to make the case for his election. Numerous times, he has supported certain legislation, only to denounce it later. He voted in favor of the U.S. Patriot Act, then said on the campaign trail the measure goes too far in curtailing civil rights. He voted in favor of school reform known as the No Child Left Behind Act, then denounced it as an unfunded mandate. He has made numerous conflicting remarks over whether he is for free trade or not. And the list goes on.

The reasons are so fucking bogus I want to rip my hair out.
