Last Night, My First Political Dream Ever
that I can remember.

It was a long, extended series of cuts from election night coverage. Kerry had won by 10% of the popular vote. There was a great feeling of victory and relief.

Since Kerry was nominated, I have maintained that he would win by a margin of somewhere between 5 and 10 percentage points. So while it might turn out to be a lot closer, I think that 10% represents the most optimistic realistic outcome.

Every once in awhile, I experience something that was echoed in a dream I recently had. So maybe it's a sign. :)

2. I had a similar dream.
I don't remember it exactly, but it was election night and Kerry won. It was in credible sense of relief.

3. I've had so many political dreams...
I had one where I was physically shaking Rumsfeld and yelling something like "What the hell is wrong with you".

I have had numerous voting dreams (sometimes I am crying in them b/c I am overwhelmed by the thought of firing bush). I have also had numerous rally dreams where I am speaking about Kerry to crowds of people (not something I could actually see myself doing, unfortunately) and also attending rallies.

The best dream I had was around my birthday a few months ago. I dreamed I was on *that* aircraft carrier with Bush. And he was in his silly flightsuit. He tried to give me a birthday card and I rejected it. And had some choice words for him as well.

I am clearly working something out in my dreams...

4. Wow.
I had a first political dream last night as well. Kerry winning. Bush shrinking into a dark blot. A lot of celebration. A feeling of enlightenment. Tons of love.

I almost never dream of "real" people, and I've only one other time had a dream about a public figure.

I take this as a prophetic dream.

5. I hope I can recapture the feeling
I had when Clinton won in '92(Still have the newspaper). Junior has done more to crush my spirit in 4 years than Reagan-Bush did in 12.
