1. This is one bad economic number...
that I will consider to be OK until after the election.

It is sad that we get a sick sense of hope for political change in our country when we see negative economic data, like rising debt, increased bankruptcies, and a trend toward the worst unemployment we have seen in a lifetime.

The DOW being lower than 10K, I can accept. Those who own stocks can afford to own stocks. When the Presidency changes hands in November, these stockholders will regain their value.

Peace and prosperity will return.

2. Alan GreenSPIN
When Lou Dobb's came on with a brief update of what he'll be discussing on his show a little later.. he (Lou) said that Alan Greenspan said things are really much better than they appear.. :puke:

Lou had a look of total disgust; as if he were thinking "this guy is completely full of shit" as he went down the list of things Greenspan said looked so rosey.

Basically, Alan Greenspan is saying that the future's so bright, he needs to wear shades.. :smoke:

Lou will be discussing this later.. but you can tell he isn't buying any of it.. Lou's expressions say it all! ;)

3. Some investor uncertainty surfacing about which way the election
will go now? Could be. They certainly don't like uncertainty. Hope fully a Kerry victory (and the prospect of a Richard Rubin return) may help the markets to a post-election climb.
