The media ran it's Bush toe-sucking to the final days, but with JK and Bush tied in the majority of polls, JK pulling away in the Battleground states, and Dubya's approval rating at 44 percent, the media has no choice but to spit the toes out and go with the inevitable.

in separate pieces. Professional pollsters tell you that disapproval this low means the end. Statistics tell you the same. A look at Gallup's *ahem* non-skewed poll from 2000 put Gore behind by 13% (remember, the one he won) on October 27. And by that math, Gallup's figure now means Kerry is ahead even by them. Republican stalwarts are bailing, newspapers are a landslide for Kerry, and most of all- the mongers are spinning so fast they're getting visibly dizzy-
