3. Heard him on NPR this morning.
Urepentant, and clearly in it to the end. Stubborn was usefull when going up against GM, but not now.

6. He's only on ballots in what, 18 states? He shouldn't even be in
poll questions, online or otherwise.

7. I had hoped for that too, but
I heard Nader interviewed on NPR today ("The State of Things," I think) and he sounded pretty adamant that he wouldn't drop out.

9. Why is it some people still seem
to think Nader has any integrity? He would support Bush before supporting Kerry. In his deranged way of thinking, the only way to save this country is to run it to the ground and start all over again. That is why he wants Bush to win. No way he'd support Kerry. You need to get that thought out of your mind.

11. He doesn't have to support Kerry
to drop out of the race and endorse him. I don't believe Nader has any integrity, ergo my first sentence. But I do believe with the race as close as it is, such an action could just quite possibly tip the election.

12. I feel so cheap and dirty.
To think that I used to beat people over the head to read Nader's books and listen to him on tape. He was 'the man' and I was a true believer.

If someone had told me that Nader would turn into an egomaniac nut case at the turn of the century, I would have called them big fat liars.

His current madness does not, of course, negate all the good he did before he became insane, but it sure as hell diminishes him as a human being. Who would have thunk it?

13. This is not pivotal, not at all.
Some people would still vote for Nader even if he withdrew. Further, some people would vote if Nader is running won't vote if he withdrew. Few--very few--will vote for Nader. A far greater surprise would be Bush withdrawing from the race for whatever reason.

15. Yes, I do
I heard on the radio yesterday (18 Oct) that Nader thought it might be a good idea to get rid of the giant corporation known as bush and one way to do so would be by joining forces with Kerry.

16. Nader won't quit. He's a Socialist now.
Peter Camejo was the Socialist Workers Party candidate for President in 1976. Nader is now the unofficial Socialist candidate for Prez.
