Could This Be The Death Knell For CNN, USA Today, Gallup And Their Flawed
Polls?

According to Josh Marshall at www.talkingpointsmemo.com the new WSJ-NBC poll will show the race dead even...

This and other current polls contradicts the flawed Gallup Poll by a huge margin...

If Gallup is discredited they can no longer use their polls to mislead the public and demoralize Democrats...

They got away with it in 00.... This emboldened them to try it again....

Now they're busted....

1. Hmm
I'll bet there's collective gnashing of teeth and fouling of clothes at the Bush- Cheney headquarters...

I'll bet Rove has a load in his pants... I always thought he was a pantload...

2. Gallup is basing its %s on the 2002 elections
It was not a Presidential election which brings out many more Democrats.

3. It's time for a CNN/Zogby poll
CNN should drop Gallup and hire Zogby.

6. The republicans are scared in a major way
The number of newly registered Democrats is a big deal

If there is a large voter turnout John Kerry will win by at least 5%

You are right. Bush lost last time, so where is he getting all these votes? His approval rating is 44%.

Could the junta media be setting up a Diebold steal?

If Diebold machines are programmed to switch 5% from Kerry to Bush, Bush wins and CNN/Gallop will be proud of their polling.

Five years ago these thoughts would have been :tinfoilhat: but now.....?

7. CNN and Bill Schneider practically calling race for Bush based on polls
It has been incredible how the media is spinning a few polls from one day into a dominating news story about how Bush has opened up a big lead and they are portraying him in a positive light as a winner despite his dismal debate performances. They never mention how wrong the polls were four years ago or Bush's low approval ratings for an incumbent and the unrelenting bad news on Iraq and the economy and flu vaccine shortage that still may sink him by election day.

9. Even funnier
I've seen many of them claiming that Kerry got no boost out of the debates at all. ONly to now say Bush has reclaimed the ground he lost from the debates. Kinda the same way they all said Kerry got no bounce from his convention but then said Bush surged ahead on the tails of his piece of crap convention.

No wonder they love Bush. They all seem to change their rationalizations for their behavior and predictions by the day, just like him.

12. Yes.
It was discussed some time back, when the last outrageous Gallup poll proclaiming * to be invincible was released. The current Mr. Gallup is an extreme right-wing fundamentalist. My opinion is that USA Today is also a right-leaning outfit. CNN is the only name in that particular Axis of Evil that has credibility, and it SHOULDN'T.

Beautiful!!!

I would recommend this blog too, if anyone doesn't already know about it. MyDD, SwingStateProject, and DU are where I go to look for new polls, when I can't resist the urge. I know there won't be any blood-boiling *-whoring going on.

The "journalists" of CNN become useless when the people do their OWN research, and that's what is happening with the internet(s)..

15. Gallup is a fundie and they are NOT honest when it gets in the way of
their agenda. That type of fundie will rationalize lying as if God wants them to lie.

They really are sick people.
