C-SPAN/Hotline: Oregon Disputed? Greg Palast on Now

They just did their daily tally of Electorals with Bunnypants with a small lead at 224 EVs to Kerry's 217. They had 7 states still undecided.

The good news were the polls showing Kerry ahead in New Jersey and New Hamsphire and doing very well in Colorado.

The goofy one was a poll from Oregon that shows Kerry with a lead and then Chuck Todd quickly aludes that this contradicts another poll the other day that showed Bunnypants ahead.

Uh, now which poll was that? I am in constant contact with folks in Oregon and Kerry's crusing there and in Washington. The only dispute they have is which state will do better for Kerry. So what's Todd smokin' this morning?

1. It was a Riley poll, probably an outlier.

2. In Todd's defense, there was a bogus poll out the other day w/Bush leading

I don't remember who did the poll but it was ridiculous. It's sample suggested that there would be more aged 75+ voters than 18-34yo voters.

My sister, who lives in Medford, has been anxiously awaiting her ballot in the mail. I have to give her a call to make sure she received it and was able to vote. My fundie mother who was staying with her forwarded her mail and my sister's mail was forwarded too--to Ohio! Hopefully my sister caught it on time. I swear that woman is evil.

owned up to his political preferrences, and allowed that if there were a choice to be made he would come down on the side of the thugs.

I don't recall the exact circumstances, but he got pinned down on just how he would vote, and that was the time he acdknowledged he leaned Bush-wise.
