Karl Rove actively pimping 9/11 in NJ to bolster Junior's "leadership"
I knew that Bush would be speaking in NJ today. I didn't know we'd be getting the extra "bonus" of wisdom, charm, insight and compassion from POS Karl Rove:

"From a lot of places in New Jersey you could see the towers," Karl Rove, Bush's chief political adviser, told reporters at a weekend campaign rally in West Palm Beach, Fla.

"A lot of people in New Jersey, a lot of communities in New Jersey felt personally the sting of 9/11. I think that has made them more sensitive — as we get close to the end — about the question of who will make America safer."

2. I would compare New Jersey to Arizona.
It looks close for Kerry in Arizona, but it ani't gonna happen. Same thing for Bush in Jersey. I'm glad he is wasting his time.

7. Idea/goal is not to win New Jersey
it's to get the media to report "A confident President now competitive even on traditional Democratic ground" or something equally stupid. It's that tired old "inevitibilty" card that Rove has played before. It's bullshit of course and we need to call him out on it.

4. 9/11
I don't think anyone with even an ounce of knowledge about 9/11 and what happened and why it happened, could possibly believe that the Republicans were not involved in its execution. The only people who benefitted from 9/11 were George Bush and the Republican party.

Oops! I mean we like Bush as a person, but not as a politician. Didn't want people to think we were "Bush-bashers" or anything.

(but he is a scumbag)
