2. Unless it's an anonymous poll
It counts for nothing .

3. I heard about this poll: here's how they did it
The organization that conducted the poll did it by E-mail. It is easy to disregard an E-mail and most of the infantry soldiers in Iraq don't exactly have the best access to the E-mail right now. The poll is highly unscientific.

5. They publicly 'polled' Officers. Inaccurate and BIASED
The enlisted anr tired of being poled.

6. If it's the one I heard this AM
it's from Annenberg. They are puzzled by the results, and not real wild about the methodology. They were not allowed to directly poll servicefolk on active duty in the field, and the questions they could get to them couldn't be as clear as Kerry vs Bush.

They were pretty sure the results weren't grossly far off, but not sure that the MOE wasn't in the double digits, either.

8. Another problem is that
These polls are heavy in polling officers, and rather light in polling enlisted men and barely polled the guards at all.

9. From all I've heard only military supporting Bush were comfortable
answering the poll question.

Many opposing Bush feared coming forward. I believe retribution is a factor.

11. Bush will still win the military vote
simply because they tend to be more conservative than the population, as a whole.

But I predict Kerry will take a larger share of Military votes than any Dem has gotten in a very, very long time.

And thats what counts...cut into that large lead.
