He seems a lot more high-energy than he did in round #1 (missed #2, alas), but I'm not positive that's a great thing. Oh look, he's getting the audience laughter. I hate to say it, but at least in terms of style he seems to be much more in form than he's been. Content of course is another story. But he seems to be holding the folksy aw-shucks jive shreds of his persona more together...agh. And Kerry feels a little low-energy. Well, they're on the cutesy personal stuff now, Bush always does okay with that. Last statement now.

Funny; with Bush it's like, he's got his mask on, but you can see the beady little eyes gleaming out with...what is it? mania? desperation? fury? coke? all of the above? The glaze is a little scary at times...
