10. Vatican II (modern Catholicism) is all about tolerance and
personal conscience.
It makes it OK to personally oppose abortion but respect others' right to choose.
It also allows for homosexuality, etc.... pretty cool and liberal, which is why I say REAL Catholics are liberal.

Born and raised one myself.

He's a realist. Nobody that is a single-issue voter on pro-choice was ever going to vote for Kerry anyways. He didn't lose anybody during this debate that he didn't already have before he started.
