Infiltrators, anyone?

I am not suggesting I could identify them, but it would be NAÏVE to assume there are NOT infiltrators on these boards (sent or not sent by Bush supporters to do their dirty work), whose REAL purpose is to sow the seeds of dissension and to cause us to dislike one another's candidates, and one another.

REAL Democrats are still simmering over what happened to our nominee in the 2000 election; we want to get George W. Bush out of the White House more than we want to argue with one another. I don't care which candidate some say they are "for," I am deeply suspicious of the motives of any posters who feel that in order to advance the candidacy of their favorite candidates they have to bash and destroy the other Democratic candidates.

After the damage done to Al Gore's election chances by the candidacy of third-party candidate Ralph Nader in 2000, we should all be committed to supporting whoever is the eventual Democratic nominee in the general election.

That would seem to me to be a no-brainer.

I assume some will claim here to be supporters of one Democratic candidate or another and will then hide behind that 'pretend support' to feel safely enough camouflaged to bash some other candidate. But if posters persist in bad-mouthing the other Democrats, I would urge all here to be alert to the possibility of "plants" in our midst and act accordingly

We should be suspicious of the motives of anyone who takes delight in bashing one of the Democratic candidates, particularly the top tier candidates, one of whom WILL BE our nominee in the general election.

1. Not necessarily
The general public is not paying attention now. The more robust the debate now, the better our candidate will do in Nov.

It's a "shakedown" cruise.
