Bush, the Illuminati, and the Future of the Presidency
:tinfoilhat: Put 'em on. You'll need 'em. :tinfoilhat:

What does Bush, the Oval Office Rug, and the Illuminati all have in common?

I just recently read an article about Bush's obsession with the Oval Office Rug.

WASHINGTON POST

For whatever reason, Bush seems fixated on his rug. Virtually all visitors to the Oval Office find him regaling them about how it was chosen and what it represents. Turns out, he always says, the first decision any president makes is what carpet he wants in his office. As a take-charge leader, he then explains, he of course made a command decision -- he delegated the decision to Laura Bush, who chose a yellow sunbeam design.

<snip>

"You know an interesting story about the rug?" he (BUSH) asked. "Laura designed the rug."

"She did?" Vargas said.

"Yeah, she did. Presidents are able to pick their own rugs or design their own rugs."

I must say, it is an interesting rug, but for much different reasons.

Bush's membership of Skull and Bones has long been known and admitted to. It has been suggested (for obvious reasons) that Skull and Bones is the American Branch of the international group, The Illuminati.

Regardless of the direct ties between the two groups, their underlying belief systems are one and the same. Furthermore, symbolism is a very important part for both groups.

The Illuminati refers to "the enlightened ones" in Latin. As the name suggests, light is a dominating symbol as you can see in this Illumanati symbol most Americans are all too familar with on the back of the U.S. Dollar Bill:

Is it just a coincidence then that President Bush, member of Skull and Bones, is so obsessed with The Oval Office Rug that contains rays of light?

Notice where the Presidential Seal is positioned? It's in the same position as that of The All Seeing Eye as posted above. The Presidential Seal is the center from which the rays of light emanate.

This is the same Illuminati symbolism used in the logo proposed for the Orwellian like Total Information Awareness department that was designed to gather unprecedented amounts of information about U.S. citizens. (On a side note, TIA was shot down due to political pressure, but has recently been repackaged under a different name, called "Basketball", and could quite possibley become a real working program.)

My point is, this rug means something important, not just to George W. Bush himself, but to us and others working "behind the scenes".

One more note you might want to consider, concerning the "Future of the Presidency":

Bush is the 43rd President of the United States. If you count the number of beams of light on the rug, the count is 44. Does this refer to some "optimism" of who the 44th President will be? Or does it mean that the next President will also be a member of the Illuminati? Or does it mean something else?

Some people will argue that the number of rays of light means nothing. That argument doesn't hold water. Look at the Presidential Seal:

Everything on that Seal means something. Count the number of stars going around in the circle: 50. Count the number of arrows: 13. Count the number leaves on the olive branch: 13. The President admits (as everyone knows) that even the direction the eagle head is pointed (towards the olive branches) means something (supposedly that the USA is a peaceful country).

And this Seal is in the Center of the Rug.

So the numbers matter. The only question is what does 44 mean?

What does ALL this have to do with 9/11? What do you think! The entire foundation for the MIHOP theory is that there is a global elite (Illuminati) group of world bankers and such that allowed (read: planned) the attacks of 9/11 to be carried out by rogue sections of our government.

Some will disagree - that's cool - I have no problem with that, but the evidence and pointers are out there, and the on Oval Office floor.

1. Way too complicated
The easier explanation is that he equates himself with the sun, around which everything else revolves.

2. Nah - that would be Way too over simplified.

In this video from the White House, even Bush himself discusses what the symbolism of the sun means to him.

There is a painting on the wall done by a friend of him and Laura's named Tom Lee. Bush quotes what Tom Lee said about the painting:

"'Sarah and I live on the east side of the mountain. It is the sunrise side, not the sunset side. It is the side to see the day that's coming, not to see the day that has gone.'

I love that quote because it is uh, a President must see a day that is coming, not the day that has gone. The President has got to see a better day for America."

So, as you can see, even in Bush's own words, the SUN is a symbol of the FUTURE. And being that the Presidential Seal lies in the center of the sun (on the rug), and there are 44 rays of light, we are forced to comprehend the deeper meaning behind the symbolism of the rug arrangement.

3. If only there were 23 beams of light - then you might be onto something
Do you seriously believe there is an international organization called "The Illuminati" and that their US branch is a college fraternity?

5. Ha ha - good joke. But seriously....
...to answer your question - the existence of the "Illuminati" is not a question of belief, it's a fact. There is speculation as to the direct ties from them to the "Skull and Bones". That connection is not well established, but parallels between the two in belief systems and symbolism do suggest common threads and history.

So, to answer your question the way you framed it: No. I don't necessarily "believe" that Skull and Bones is the "US branch" of the Illuminati per se. However, there is some relationship between the two.

You wouldn't happen to be trying to "make fun" of this subject, would you? :sarcasm:

8. I wasn't trying to be that much of a dick :)
It's just suprising to see what is generally a far-right conspiracy on a left wing board.

You say it's a "fact", but where is there any evidence that the Weishaupt founded organization lasted any longer than the end of the 18th century? There's been some conjecture, which has often taken on various bigoted guises (particularly anti-semitic but also anti-liberal/communist, anti-feminist, etc), but I've never seen any actual evidence for it.

10. Illuminati archives

http://www.conspiracyarchive.com/

“The main features of the Weishaupt plan of operation required his Illuminati to do the following things to help them to accomplish their purpose:

1. Monetary and sex bribery was to be used to obtain control of men already in high places in the various levels of all governments and other fields of endeavor. Once influential persons had fallen for the lies, deceits, and temptations of the Illuminati, they were to be held in bondage by application of political and other forms of blackmail, threats of financial ruin, public exposure, and physical harm, even death to themselves and loved members of their families.

2. The Illuminati who were on the faculty of colleges and universities were to cultivate students possessing exceptional mental ability and who belonged to well-bred families with international leanings, and recommend them for special training in Internationalism. Such training was to be provided by granting scholarships, like the Rhodes Scholarship, to those selected by the Illuminati. All such scholars were to be first persuaded and then convinced that men of special talent and brains had the right to rule those less gifted on the grounds that the masses do not know what is best for them physically, mentally, and spiritually.

3. All influential people who were trapped to come under the control of the Illuminati, plus the students who had been specially educated and trained, were to be used as agents and placed behind the scenes of all governments as experts and specialists. They would advise the top executives to adopt policies which would, in the long run, serve the secret plans of the Illuminati's one world conspiracy, and bring about the destruction of the governments and religions they were elected or appointed to serve.

4. They were to obtain absolute control of the press so that all news and information could be slanted to convince the masses that a one world government is the only solution to our many and varied problems. They were also to own and control all the national radio and TV channels.

After reading these four points of strategy, we have to admit that our mass communications media is controlled at all levels, and that at all levels our governments are also infiltrated and controlled, just like Weishaupt had planned back in the 1700's. Unfortunately, few people are aware of this fact, which is why they make little sense out of many of the world events that take place today.”

Zero evidence for any of it. All I've ever seen shows that the Bavarian Illuminati were generally a pretty groovy pro-enlightenment forward thinking and progressive organization.

13. I don't understand - on one hand you say there is "zero" evidence
for the existence of the Illuminati - but then you later say you consider the Bavarian Illuminati a postive thing.

That's fine if you think that they are positive - but why are you trying to claim they don't even exist? You can't have it both ways.

Furthermore, to say there is "zero" evidence they even exist is a completely false statement from the point of objectivity. Subjectively it may be true, if you choose to not research the subject in a genuine fashion or choose to ignore the relevant facts you have learned. You have illustrated this point with your self-contradictory above.

Just so you get the tone in my post here: This isn't a personal attack on you, I'm just stating the obvious.

The other points I must clarify - I am in no way suggesting nor have I ever claimed that the Illuminati or Skull and Bones are Jewish organizations. Nor is my position "right wing". Quite the contrary - Neither John Kerry nor George W. Bush are Jewish - they are Christians (Catholic and Evangelical, respectively) and the "conspiracy" I'm speaking of OBVIOUSLY has no bias towards "right" or "left" thinking. In fact, the false "left/right" paradigm is set up as a system of control by the Global Elites so that WE (you and me) will always filter our thinking that way. Left and Right are two sides of the same coin. It's just one of dozens and dozens of "divide and conquor" strategies to keep us from focusing our energies on the people that are truly dominating us: The Global Elite.

15. There was an organization called the Bavarian Illuminati
It was around for about 20 years in the 1700s, until secret societies were made illegal and Weishaupt was exiled. The "Illuminati" conspiracy theory claims that they remained intact as a secret society from the 18th century until now & were responsible for the French Revolution, Marxism, FDR's "New Deal" & the UN (plus & minus whatever). I've never seen any evidence for that.

Just to clarify, I wasn't accusing you of being right-wing or anti-semitic, etc. However the Illuminati conspiracy has historically been right-wing - take Fagan in the post above for example - because Weishaupt et al held many enlightened views (representative democracy, female emancipation, seperation of church & state, etc).

I'll shut up now :)

4. Bush obsessed with the rug to make up for pissing on it drunk ...
Sorry, don't have time for the cite, but Bush famously got drunk and pissed on the carpet in the white house during his father's administration. Maybe his focus on the carpet is a form of penance.

12. Not this time. The people running the show cross all religious
lines and racial lines. These World Bankers worship one thing: power. Religion has nothing to do with it.

16. Exactly - and when you follow the money you'll eventually end up
at the Ocean (Global Elite). Our bank accounts are the tributaries, taxes are creeks, corporate revenues and bank interst are rivers, World bankers are the oceans.
