As I recall, a vehicle (a van, I think) occupied by Arabs pulled up and someone wanted to see Bush. It really makes Bush seem guiltier, because wouldn't security around him be tighter if they knew someone was hunting for him?

It also said that Air Force One was unescorted (by fighter jets) when Bush ran away to Nebraska. If was really endangered, why didn't they have an escort?

6. Daniels approach and error

Daniels view is that of an investigator in Florida. So all his findings concerning the Florida events are most important. But he is not in the "general" discussion, so he sees the Florida events very isolated.
Yes there were 4 middle-east-looking guys in the early morning of 9/11 in the hotel on Longnoat key, the Longboat key Observer stated that. But this "attempt" was very poor, and there is some facts around the story which make it unbelievable: that the guards did not take at least the number of the car, i.e.. I would habe guessed them to be grilled in the next police station.

Anyway: there were more stories like that: the thrteat to Airforce No.1. The alleged bomb in the front of the state department. The missing 20th hijacker. All these stories are like in a Hollywood movie: beginnings without end. In the masters cut version B24/2 will be taken, if necessary.

There was no need to make Bush a victim, a hero or something else after the glorious impression of the impacts and fall-down of the WTC-towers. It would have been counterproductive to victimize Bush after so many real victims. His role was changed to the "leading chieftain in war" in the wake of the morning. Remember the first speech in the school: no "war"-sounds at all.

7. thoughts on possible assassination

What if it was true?
And what if it was successful?
And what if all flights left on time?

This would have happened:

Bush dead at about 6:30 am on 9/11
News hits airwaves -- huge distraction (obviously)
4 planes hitting both WTC towers, Pentagon and (let's say) Capitol

Who is left to run the country? Cheney, safe and sound in the WH bunker; most (or all) of those pesky senators and congressmen dead. Country stunned beyond belief at what has happened in 2-3 short hours.

This scenario would be a PNACer's wet dream. If it was MIHOP, my money is on this scenario.

so increased terroralarm including high security at airports, delays of flights ....

9. a clearer road

What I was saying is if it happened as I posted, Cheney would have had a much clearer road on which to drive the PNAC Express. He would be the actual president and there would be VERY little resistance to any of his immediate actions. ... Right now, if this Administration said it wanted to fight 4-5 wars at once, I believe there would be criticism from various people in Congress. A couple, anyway. :)
