Looking for a definite list of the 19 alleged hijackers
Ok, before you start laughing and are already pasting the the URL of the FBI list from September 27
http://www.fbi.gov/pressrel/pressrel01/092701hjpic.htm

let's recall what's mentioned there:
It should be noted that attempts to confirm the true identities of these individuals are still under way
and the word "possible" is very often used in this list.

Then I managed to find a FBI list from January 2002 hoping this would be definite:
http://web.archive.org/web/20020201195431/http://cas.faa.gov/fbiphotos

but here again we read:
Attempts to confirm the true identities of these individuals are still under way.
It's good to know that in the biggest criminal investigation the investigators never stop working but I do admit
that I'm a bit surprised that four month after 911 eg Atta is described as
Possible Egyptian national
Maybe they should ask his father....

Again the word used very often is "possible" or "believed".

Therefore my question: Does anybody have a definite list of the alleged hijackers with definite nationalities etc?

1. No
They haven't even got the number of hijackers right yet:
(After 9:00 a.m.): United Flight 23 Hijacking Averted?
"Shortly after 9:00 a.m., United Airlines Flight 23 receives a warning message from flight dispatcher Ed Ballinger. Flight 23 is still on a Newark, New Jersey, runway, about to take off for Los Angeles. Apparently in response to Ballinger's message, the crew tells the passengers there has been a mechanical problem and returns to the departure gate. A number of Middle Eastern men (one account says three, others say six) argue with the flight crew and refuse to get off the plane. Security is called, but they flee before it arrives. Later, authorities check their luggage and find copies of the Koran and al-Qaeda instruction sheets. Ballinger suspects they got away. “When all we have is a photo from a fake ID, the chances of finding in Afghanistan or Pakistan are rather slim.” A NORAD deputy commander later says, “From our perception, we think our reaction on that day was sufficiently quick that we may well have precluded at least one other hijacking. We may not have. We don't know for sure.”

So how could the names be right?

There must be dozens of references to Al Qaeda forging passports. The diea all these guys were using their real names is ludicrous.

2. I would never say
that the names on the list are correct. That is another issue.
I'm simply surprised that nobody seems to bother the FBI comes forward with a definite list?
I mean Atta's father has been interviewed, sames goes for Jarrah's father and the father and brother of the Al Shehris etc etc.
Should be not to problematic to at least present the nationalities and birthdays of these guys...
Does anybody recall any crime where the investigators never bothered to present the public a definite list of the criminals??

4. American Talib
John Walker Lindh "told investigators that the first phase was originally planned to have "consisted of five attacks", as opposed to the four that were actually carried out. He said a "close associate of bin Laden" told him "there should have been five planes used" on September 11, "the fifth targeting the White House."
