Members of Israeli spy ring 'related to 9/11 hijacker'
This comment is to be taken with caution but certainly very interesting.

"BEIRUT: Two men arrested for running an Israeli spy ring in the Bekaa Valley are relatives of a suicide hijacker who piloted a plane in the September 11, 2001, attacks, a security source told The Daily Star on Sunday. The Lebanese Army announced on Saturday that it had arrested two people suspected of involvement with a spy network that gathered information for Israel's intelligence services.

The army said that the men had been arrested on Friday, but the source said that they were actually captured two weeks ago and the discovery of the arrests by the media prompted the army to announce their capture.

The army said the men had admitted "gathering information on political party offices and monitoring the movements of party figures for the enemy."

The statement added that the men had been found with "communications devices and other sophisticated equipment," which they used to gather information and transmit it to Mossad agents.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the source said the men are relatives of Ziad Jarrah, the Lebanese who helped commandeer United Airlines Flight 93 before it crashed into a Pennsylvania field on September 11, 2001, killing everyone on board. Jarrah's family is from the town of Al-Marej in the Bekaa Valley, where the arrests took place."

1. not to be forgotten......Jarrah also claimed to be Saudi

Between lessons, Jarrah, who carried a German passport and claimed to be Saudi, and Rodriguez, a 53-year-old Cuban-American, talked about the world.

2. What is very interesting about
a spy that is related to a hijacker being arrested? It's been seven+ years since 9/11.

3. Ain't this the truth...
"Every couple of weeks there is someone, somewhere accusing the Mossad of something. As a rule, we don't comment on all these accusations," the spokesman said on Sunday."

Also, I don't see why this is really all that interesting.

4. I think Andre just likes to find dots
... and invite people to do their own connecting, whether or not it's justified. He never quite gets around to explaining what he thinks it means, apparently to avoid criticism of his reasoning.

5. so you're looking to criticize member's reasoning instead...
of criticizing the cover up of 911? Thanks for the admission. :hi:

6. Excatly
the beauty in the OTC-world is:
If the other comes up with a hypothesis the fun is to reproach that the CT-ler jumps to conclusion that can't be proven by 100%.
If the other only presents the evidence and refrains from drawing cionclusions they reproach him to avoid "to show us how it really was".
Great!
All knowing of course fully that in any covert operations there are many pieces of the puzzle which are simply disinformation in order to avoid any total explanation of what really happened.
Strangely the OTC-ler never use the same standard for the Official explanation.
Cause otherwise they must admit that the OTC doesn't stand the test.
The burden of proof is on the official side.
The defence has to prove that the official story is a lie.
It's completely against any rational reasoning that the defence must prove who is the culprit.

10. The question is, "only presents the evidence" of what?
You keep claiming that, even though you don't know what happened on 9/11, you can prove that the "official story is a lie." And while it's true that you have uncovered various minor and seemingly insignificant discrepancies in the details of some of the reports, they're always such mundane and perfectly explainable things as discrepancies between times derived from different sources and different recollections from different people or even from the same people at different times. In each case, however, you reject the mundane explanations and always prefer the interpretations that support your "lie" assertion. But you're simply not proving what you're claiming to prove; you're just struggling to justify what you had already concluded before you started digging for discrepancies.

Then you say, "The burden of proof is on the official side." If you don't know what the evidence is that says 19 Arabs hijacked four planes and managed to get three of them to their targets, then you really aren't prepared to discuss 9/11. See the footnotes of the 9/11 Commission Report and tell me what they got wrong.

13. The height of illogic
regarding where the burden of proof lies.

There are literally thousands of entities / non political or apolitical institutions that by and large support the so called "official story" based on the evidence and facts. The NIST, the media in multiple forms, eyewitnesses, established investigative reporters, etc, etc ,etc.

Yet Andre and his ilk decide the official story does not add up and frantically wave their arms declaring not a new truth, not even declaring a cohesive well articulated narrative of the so called truth, but keep repeating well debunked speculation and theories, and connect the dots fallacies, expecting to be taken so seriously that the "other" side will feel compelled to prove itself further.

Andre if you want to be taken seriously the burden of proof is on you.

Good luck

7. Certainly
well maybe
the Israel art student spy ring
the Mossad living close to several alleged hijackers in Florida and so on.
It's not exactly so that there is no appearance of the Mossad in the story around 9/11.
And: No! I'm not yelling it was the Mossad.
In fact - even if this is highly unpopular because it kills the fun to joke about hypothesis - I'm pointing out to what MIGHT be interesting and to keep in mind.

8. Most are unfounded.
The "Israeli art student spy ring" has been shot down with actual facts. "the Mossad living close to several alleged hijackers in Florida and so on" Never heard this one. I still fail to how this is remotely interesting other than creating confusion in order to put forth crap as "facts." I read this type of shit on Rense and 'judicial.biz' and it is the same thing, "six degrees of Kevin Bacon" to "prove" or imply somehow Israel is involved. IMO, it is as ignorant as the right who try to find Al-Qadea behind every bad thing.

Reports of Israeli Spy Ring Dismissed

by John Mintz and Dan Eggen
The Washington Post
March 6, 2002

A wide array of U.S. officials yesterday dismissed reports that the U.S. government had broken up an Israeli espionage ring that consisted of young Israelis attempting to penetrate U.S. agencies by selling artwork in federal buildings.

"This seems to be an urban myth that has been circulating for months," said Justice Department spokeswoman Susan Dryden. "The department has no information at this time to substantiate these widespread reports about Israeli art students involved in espionage."

Several officials said the allegations -- first reported by a French online publication and later by other news organizations -- of a massive U.S. probe of Israeli spies appear to have been circulated by a single employee of the Drug Enforcement Administration who is angry that his theories have not gained currency.

This week, the Paris-based "Intelligence Online" service quoted from what it said was a 61-page report by a federal task force, led by the DEA, which said that 120 Israelis posing as art students had been deported as part of an espionage crackdown and that the spy scandal had been hushed up.

But two law enforcement officials said the disgruntled DEA agent, who disagreed with the conclusion of FBI and CIA intelligence experts that no spying was taking place, appears to be leaking a memo that he himself wrote.

However, like many of the CT, this one just won't die.
