I was driving into work today, and the radio station I was listening to was talking about some very unique forms of insurance currently being offered.
One was "Insurance for UFO Abductees". The coverage cost is very modest, but, there is the "fine print".
Apparently, an "onboard alien" has to authorize the "claim" in order for the abductee to file a claim and collect.
I couldn't stop laughing. I was imagining some poor soul on board an alien ship asking his or her abductor to "please sir, can you put into writing that you have abducted me?".

This post is by no means meant to put down those who believe in abductions. I just found this particular "clause" hilarious.
This is apparently true, and, of course, the coverage was meant as a spoof. But, apparently some are taking it seriously.
On edit: I apologize to anyone here who wants this forum to be strictly about 9/11 issues. In my own defense, I think that a little humor is a good thing for this forum. For instance, I once posted a pic of my cat Jake walking on a leash (which I posted in error as I meant to post in the Pets Group). Turns out, it wasn't a bad thing at all. The thread got some excellent responses!)
