Support referendum for 9-11 probe
http://www.watertowndailytimes.com/article/20080707/OPINION02/807269645/Support+referendum+for+9-11+probe

MONDAY, JULY 7, 2008
Seven years after the events of 9-11, 2001, there are more unanswered questions than ever and enough factual evidence contradicting the "official" version of 9-11 to fill this entire newspaper.

There has never been a criminal investigation of 9-11. The 9-11 Commission was under control of the White House which set the parameters. Philip Zelikow was a White House insider and friend of Condoleeza Rice. The 9-11 Commission report is full of omissions.

For example, the fact that WTC-7, a 47-story building, never hit by a plane, collapsed vertically into its own footprint at free fall speed, in less than 10 seconds at the speed of gravity, was never mentioned in the report. Anyone who has carefully watched videos of this building and the Twin Towers collapsing will note the resemblance to controlled demolitions and the evidence of explosives. There is voluminous evidence from multiple sources that these buildings were packed with explosives.

.....

In the name of 9-11, 1 million Iraqis have been killed and 5 million are refugees. The plans are for a permanent occupation to control the world's second largest oil fields, not paid for by multibillion dollar corporations who will benefit, but by us. In the name of 9-11 Afghanistan has been invaded, Iran demonized, our Constitution shredded, our civil liberties compromised and torture promoted. In the name of 9-11 this country has been bankrupted for trillions of dollars.

All of these things in the name of 9-11, and we do not even know what happened that day. What terrified me after 9-11 were all the flags, because I knew that questions, rather than flags, are what should have been raised.

1. Bad physics immediately makes me question accuracy of article...
1. gravity is not a speed, it is an acceleration.

2. WTC7 was 174m tall. An object dropped from the top would take just under 6 seconds to fall to the ground (using s=1/2at^2 where s is height in m, and a is acceleration from gravity, and assuming no air resistance). That is the time of free fall. Claiming that it fell at free fall speed, in less than 10 seconds, is just wrong. If it took ~10 seconds to fall, then it took 60-70% longer than free fall speed to fall.

This is another example of someone repeating what they've read somewhere else, without understanding it.

Sid

2. And once again we have one of a handful here trying to defend an indefendable...
version of 911! Still don't quite know what it is with these people that are trying to defend against the real story of what happened on 911... We may never find out the truth about 911, but I certainly hope many out there keep pressing to try and find out.

5. No. I don't...
If you got something to say, spell it out.

I wondered why I should find an article credible when it so clearly screws the pooch in only the 3rd paragraph.

If you'd like to try to convince me that they've got their physics correct, then go ahead.

Sid

6. I guess you agree that the physics are bad...
and thus, the content of the article is unreliable.
