Massive 9/11 TV Archive
For those with time and fast computers, here is all of the footage from network television on Sept 11th (some on the 10th too). I'm not sure how this was compiled, but it's massive. Good luck!

2. HOW ODD THAT ALL OF THE VIDEOS IN THE ARCHIVE WERE PULLED RIGHT AFTER WE FOUND THE BBC FOOTAGE!
Just another random coincidence? Something tells me no...

4. Right. All of the videos were removed the day after the BBC discovery.
But this is just ANOTHER coincidence, you see? Nothing to be alarmed about.

6. I spoke with the office manager at the archives and asked them about this.
Edited on Thu Mar-01-07 08:46 AM by StrictlyRockers
The day the videos were taken down, I called the archive office in San Francisco personally to ask them about it. I spoke with a person who identified themselves as Paul Hickman. S/he (voice indeterminate) told me that the videos should not have been up because they were not in the right format. I asked a few more questions then thanked them for their time and told them I would send an email with similar questions and hope for a written response as well.

As a side note, Paul had a very feminine sounding voice. I noted this in my blog entry after the call. When s/he told me the name "Paul" I thought I had misheard, and asked "Paula?". S/he responded in a tone that sounded as if s/he understood, or was used to, the question, and corrected me, "Paul".

After the conversation, I immediately posted what I had found out to the site www.911Blogger.com. That site is where the BBC story was first broken, by a poster named 911veritas.

Paul subsequently sent me this email response explaining why all of the archived videos had been taken down.

"Thank you for contacting us about this. The files that were pulled were not designed for download, and were not available for that purpose.
They were in streaming format for a reason. Until we can figure out how to plug those holes, we have to take the information off-line.

Our TV Archive is a project that is currently for testing purposes only.
We have pulled the footage because it was not yet ready for public viewing.

Just a coincidence that the videos were taken down the day after we used them to uncover evidence of an insider conspiracy on 9/11. Nothing to see here. Literally.

7. I don't think that anybody could have predicted that somebody would click on the link.
Yes, sure

I don't think that anybody could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center, take another one and slam it into the Pentagon, that they would try to use an airplane as a missile

12. How odd that conspiracy fantasists didn't "find" the BBC footage for 5+ years.
Edited on Sun Mar-04-07 02:12 AM by Laurier
They weren't exactly hiding it.

Edit to add: nor has anyone been "hiding" the archived television footage from numerous other sources that day, which is and has been readily available on the internet for the past five and a half years. But quick! Go and grab all of that archived footage that none of you have thought to look for until now! Before it disappears! Eleventy1111!

9. More on this at the Archives blog.
It does not make any sense to me. If they only wanted these videos to be streamed, why were they all up as mpeg-2's???

10. Thanks for this great example of a TTLDMFADL
Watching unhinged 9/11 CT moonbats harass the people at the Archive site is a great example of the "truth" movement at work.

Note: not all the people asking questions are harassing the people. But somebody needs to get a handle on "the ratt."

You're right bolo, that dude was a little unhinged. He posted later that he was wrong and was willing to eat a large plate of crow.

The archives video which exposes the BBC as incompetent journalists OR something more tinfoilhattish than incompetent journalists is back up. They keep trying to explain their incompetence... I am waiting for the third try from them. So far, seems like they are just stirring up a big hornets' nest.
