Pressuring for a new 9/11 investigation
John Q. Citizen's poll showed most of us believe 9/11 was an inside job.

The NIST Report on 9/11 was limited in scope and incomplete. They were told to figure out how buildings could collapse from aircraft hits. But they should have been commissioned to figure out how the buildings collapsed without such a narrow focus. Unbelievably, they didn't even give us an analysis of WTC-7. This building was also ignored in the 9/11 Commission Report.

Now that we have a new Congress, this is the time to ask for a new investigation of the events of September 11, 2001. Please sign the petition so we can finally find out why our country failed so miserably that day.

This petition will be delivered to the new Democratic leaders just before the new Congress convenes.

1. Don't forget to urge our Dems to enact the recommendations
of the 9/11 Commission Report.(like they promised they would)
Don't know what they are? Don't care because terrorism doesn't exist? Good luck with that.

4. Since the Democrats are somewhat complicit in 911
why would they want to expose themselves to potential embarrassment?

Unless you believe that this elaborate plot involving several government agencies was conceived and executed in the short time between Bush's election and 911, it would seem to me that Bill Clinton (and by extension Hillary) would have to answer some tough questions on how they let a government conspiracy to murder Americans happen under their very noses. It would certainly be a poor reflection on the Clinton appointees who ran the DoD, Justice Department and CIA.

And if the 9/11 commission was a white wash designed to hide the truth, wouldn't the fact that it was a bi-partisan commission containing prominent Democrats be reason enough for the present Democratic leadership to reject a real investigation into 9/11?

6. yep
Take Senator Graham for example, having breakfast with the money man for the 911 attacks, isn't going to be a good thing if he starts to say something. It would be interesting to know who scheduled this meeting.

I think there is very compelling evidence that at least some of the terrorists were assisted not just in financing -- although that was part of it -- by a sovereign foreign government and that we have been derelict in our duty to track that down, make the further case, or find the evidence that would indicate that that is not true and we can look for other reasons why the terrorists were able to function so effectively in the United States.

At the time of the attacks, ISI Director Lt. Gen. Mahmood Ahmed is at a breakfast meeting at the Capitol with the chairmen of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, Senator Bob Graham (D) and Representative Porter Goss (R) (Goss is a 10-year veteran of the CIA’s clandestine operations wing).

7. I suspect Sen. Graham was tar-babied with Ahmad
I generally agree with the theory that Ahmad's presence in DC shows some level of complicity of some elements of the defense-intelligence establishment.

But it is possible, in addition, that Ahmad was used as a tar-baby by those complicit elements. As I wrote elsewhere, if Graham had no foreknowledge of the attacks, imagine his shock several weeks after the attacks when he learned that the FBI suspected that Ahmad was a financier of the attacks. Imagine the friendly little conversation that someone like Cheney would have had with Graham at that point, suggesting that it would be better for all if the question of funding just wasn't looked into too deeply or publicized in the press. That might explain why Graham cooperated in Congress doing an even more transparently whitewashed investigation of the 9/11 attacks.

9. Some Democrats are probably involved.
Our government is badly corrupted; that makes everyone suspect - especially if they are resisting any serious investigation of 9/11/2001.

However, there are some who think a serious investigation is appropriate. May their view prevail with our help!

I suspect any and all politicians who seriously defend the war and us staying in Iraq. The war is an imperialist grap for resources and economic power and nothing else.

13. No one is slandering any one
but until we have a real 9-11 Investigation, we will never know what really happened. If in the process of that investigation, it comes to light that some of the people involved happened to be DEMS, then fine. We just want to know the truth, whatever it turns out to be.

It would be good to find out, but we would not like it!

14. I remember Pelosi praising the bipartisan 9/11 Commission
And it leads one to wonder...was 9/11 an Establishment deal...Bush Co. being the "bad cop" instead of the conventional wisdom "rogue Presidency."

If some of the problems (global warming, economic collapse, peak oil) are as dire as some suggest, then isn't it possible that 9/11 and the WoT were agreed to by both parties.
