Tanks sweep into Gaza camps

GAZA CITY -- At least three Palestinians were killed Sunday when Israeli tanks and bulldozers rolled into the El Braj refugee camp in central Gaza, Palestinian medical sources said.

They said one Palestinian was injured.

Calls encouraging Palestinians to resist were heard over loud speakers at mosques.

Reuters news service reports Palestinian witnesses saying among the dead were a 15-year-old and four militants -- including two members of Hamas, a group that has killed hundreds of Israelis in attacks and suicide bombings in over three years of violence.
