GAZA, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- The deposed government of Hamas in the Gaza Strip said on Wednesday it doesn't oppose cooperation with the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) to redevelop the strip.
Yousef al-Mansi, Hamas' housing and work minister told a news conference that redeveloping Gaza can be coordinated with the PNA in Ramallah "in condition that Hamas government be the coordinator and the supervisor."
Hamas movement and its deposed government have been ruling the whole Gaza Strip since mid June 2007. It took control of the enclave by force and routed PNA President Mahmoud Abbas' security forces from there.
Al-Mansi told reporters that he held the news conference to brief the world on the human and physical losses that the Gaza Strip had during the 22 days of Israeli army's air and ground offensive on the enclave that ended on Sunday.
