A DESPERATE mission to take humanitarian aid and carry doctors to Gaza was being prepared in Cyprus yesterday, as hundreds of thousands of people across the world staged massive demonstrations against the attacks on Gaza yesterday, and the Israelis warned they were set to escalate their actions.

The boat is expected to leave Larnaka in Cyprus later today. to sail across the Mediterranean to Gaza, delivering much-needed medical supplies and humanitarian aid. There are validated and proven means to get supplies there. To not follow it makes it clear that the intent is less on help and more of media profile.

If people are serious about helping with the suffering they should do it right. The situation in Gaza is to important to use as a platform for media games.
