Two Paratroopers killed Tuesday night in Lebanon

Two IDF soldiers were killed in an operation in south Lebanon on Tuesday night, the IDF released for publication early Wednesday. The soldiers belonged to a force from the Paratroopers Brigade operating inside south Lebanon.

One soldier was seriously wounded when the force came under heavy fire from a group Hizbullah guerrillas. The second soldier was hit during the evacuation of the first when Hizbullah forces fired at the rescue squad.
