At least seven killed, 15 wounded in Tzrifin suicide bombing
http://www.haaretzdaily.com/hasen/spages/338430.html

At least seven people were killed and several
others were reported wounded Tuesday, 10 of them
seriously, when a suicide bomber blew up just
before 6 P.M. at a crowded bus stop adjacent to
the Tzrifin military base near Rishon Letzion.
Security officials said there were many soldiers
at the bus stop.

According to preliminary
reports, the suicide bomber was
carrying a hand bag containing
an explosive device weighing
two to three kilograms and
containing large amounts of
shrapnel. It is still unclear
whether the bomber was brought
to the bus stop by another
person or reached the place on foot.

Police, who were checking the possibility that
the suicide bomber was a woman, evacuated
bystanders from the scene of the attack,
fearing additional explosive devices might have
been placed there.

3. At least they went for military targets...
so this is NOT a case of terrorism:

Four male soldiers and three female soldiers
were killed by the suicide bomber, according to
Army Radio

Perhaps the Palestinians have finally learned that targetting civillians only damages their cause.

7. The gloves never come off for Israel
If they did, then there would be widespread death in the West Bank as Israel truly went after ALL of the terror bases which are hidden in the midst of the civilian population.

Israel's humanity handcuffs it in a way the Palestinian terrorists don't ever have to worry about.

8. Israel's so humane...
Edited on Tue Sep-09-03 07:33 PM by Darranar
that they would never, for instance, blow up an apartment building in which fity innocent Palestinians lived.

Israel's so humane that they would never fire on Hamas militants on a crowded intersection.

Israel's so humane that they'd never build a giant wall in the middle of other peoples' land, making those people refugees in their own land.

Israel's so humane that they aid the growth of settlements built on stolen Palestinian land.

I could go on, but I think you get the point.

Damn right they're off and we'll see how those cowardly
leaders of hamas like to be in the crosshairs.

11. Since when have Palestinian civilians been Hamas leaders?
Y'know, those civilians in the crosshairs that end up being killed every time Israel launches attacks in the Occupied Territories? Even though you pointedly remove any reference of Palestinian civilian casualties from the articles you post here, it's important for everyone here who actually gives a shit about both Israeli and Palestinian civilians here to realise that it's yet again the civilians who are going to be successfully in the crosshairs...

Violet...

12. If only we could have "taken the gloves off" while fighting in Vietnam...
Maybe we could have won that war.

Oh... right... A much larger civilian population that was hostile with a band of Guerilla fighters mingling among them...

If only we could have "taken the gloves off" we could have won that war and stopped the spread of communism!

Nope, can't learn anything from history so let's repeat it with different players.

Like re-making an old movie with a modern cast only without the fun.

13. It's unfortunate, isn't it?
"Those who don't read history will be doomed to repeat it," or something like that.

15. It's unfortunate...
that some people can be so ignorant and repeat past mistakes - over and over and over and over again.
