Nevada's Brandon Wimberly shot
http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/ncf/news/story?id...

Nevada starting receiver Brandon Wimberly was shot in the abdomen early Saturday morning after a fight in downtown Reno.

Police told the Reno Gazette-Journal that an initial investigation showed a group of Nevada football players got into a fight with another group of people.

Derick E. Hingle/US PresswireThe police said Brandon Wimberly's abdomen injuries were "not life-threatening, but they're probably life-changing."

That other group got into a car. When Wimberly approached the car, someone inside shot him, police said. The other group fled in the car after the shooting.

4. Prove it was a CCH that did the shooting
Otherwise it was just another criminal that would carry anyway.

Doesn't have anything to do with concealed carry so the "widdle" anti-gun bigot crowd doesn't want to hear this.

Denial ain't just a river in Egypt, it's what you people are all about.

2. Show me where it was a leagal CCH that did the shooting
because that is the only one that would be leagally allowed to carry a weapon, otherwise it was just your run of the mill criminal that would carry whether the law says he can or not.

Unrec for dishonesty in posting and your normal spam.

5. I'm sorry, I fail to see how this is relevant
until the investigation is complete. Japk is implying that it is a legal CCW, and the choir is taking it at face value. Let's see where this goes.

6. unrec - with great pleasure!

Your source says the incident took place in downtown Reno. There was no mention of sporting events, college campuses or bars. Nor was there a reference to cch among either of the participating groups.

The source article did said the incident happened in DOWNTOWN RENO - not a college campus.

16. What does this have to do with guns on campus?
The players were well off-campus, in the Freight Warehouse district.

11. Jpak, once again, please post an original thought instead of a news story and please....
list how you will remove the guns from the hands of criminals that will actually be implemented.

19. Well, I'm sure the other people could have easily defended themselves with their hands
I mean, shit, they're only a group of male athletes, 18-22, in superior physical shape who play a rough contact sport. Who needs a gun?
