so he took his wife & son along for the ride. Good thing for him that nobody had grabbed his guns, huh? There are too many things that can go wrong in a murder-suicide without a trusty sidearm, boy howdy!

3. Killing people with a knife requires a lot more commitment: it's harder

work; it's often messy; and it's close-up and personal; a conscious victim is likely to make noise; a conscious target is less likely to misjudge intent, when the killer appears drenched in blood; and an attempt to run away from a knife is more likely to succeed than an attempt to run away from a gun

4. Knives require getting up close & personal

some cowards won't take the risk, preferring instead to maintain the advantage with a magic boom-stick. Throwing rocks requires a bit of strength & fine motor control, and those with Parkinson's need all the advantage they can get. Jabbing with a pointy stick introduces the possibility that the target will take it away from the attacker and fuck him with it. Yep, good thing he had unfettered access to a gun! It's a gawd-given right, yunno.

Sticks, stones, knives are all readily available, but if you want some killin' done, you're ALWAYS going for the gun! Accept no substitute.
