1. And our legislature just recently passed a law allowing folks to bring guns into bars!
Because guns and alcohol mix so well together.

7. This was the law Jon Stewart had such fun with. And he did a superb job of pointing out the idiocy of
this law.

4. And you're still not allowed to drink while carrying a gun.
Period.

6.  And until the gun is visible, and threatening, how will this be enforced?
By the time it is obvious, it will be too late. This was that ultra RW Nut Pamela Gormon's Bill.

9. It was illegal to drink and carry a gun before now..
.. so how many incidents of CCW carriers can you find being charged with carrying while intoxicated?

In Texas and Florida (the only two states that I have information close at hand) CCW/CHL holders are less likely to commit a crime than even police officers. If CCW/CHL holders are frequently obeying the law now about not drinking while carrying, what makes you think they won't obey the law now?

10. How was it enforced when concealed carry was illegal in a bar?
The only difference is that now, people who don't intend to drink aren't criminals the minute they step into a restaurant that serves alcohol.
