Pakistan Tells America To Keep Off Its Soil
Islamabad, April 7 (NNN): Reacting strongly to the US threat to enter Pakistani territory as part of the operation against the Al-Qaeda terror network and the Taleban militia, Islamabad has warned Washington to keep off its soil.
Pakistan has said that it does not require outside military assistance to hunt terrorists hiding in the tribal region as it is quite capable of taking firm action against foreign militants camouflaging in one of the most difficult mountainous terrain of the world.
The Foreign Ministry rejected US Ambassador to Kabul, Zalmay Khalilzad’s threatening statement about the possibility of allied forces entering into tribal region to directly target terrorists slipping across the 25,00 km across the border with the troubled Afghanistan.
Zalmay had earlier said, “We have told Pakistani leadership that either they must solve this problem (targeting terrorists in tribal region) or we will have to do it for ourselves.”
