Homemade Beer Causes Bank Bomb Scare

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- A bank was briefly evacuated Friday afternoon because a suspicious bag was found in the parking lot.

Police said a blue bag containing bottles was left on the ground outside the Capital Federal Savings Bank at 135th Street and Metcalf Avenue.

Officials chose to evacuate the bank as a safety precaution while a bomb squad investigated.

Police said it appears there was homemade beer inside the bag.


What kind of crazy person wastes beer unless they're some kind of terrorist?
