Consider - Repukes are happy (and defending!) to blow the cover of a CIA agent IN TIME OF WAR!
What makes you think that they would have no qualms about blowing the cover of an undercover cop because somebody in the cop's family decided to write a letter to the editor questioning *'s policies?
I can see a lot of drug busts being ruined because an undercover cop suddenly disappears - only to have the body be found a while later with a bullet in the back of the head . . .
