Ford claims Escape hybrid available this summer
I'm having a hard time keeping Ford's story straight. I thought they recently were saying they weren't releasing this until MY2007 (which I assume would be actually 2006).

But anyway, I guess it's good news if it's true. Heck, I might have to take back a few of those bad things I said about them.

than I have for Ford. That goes double if this was a rush release in response to T+H scooping them.

I'm old enough to remember when they came up with the joke (F)ix (O)r (R)epair (D)aily.

8. I'd seen news on it before.
My wife is interested in getting one when we replace her Taurus in a couple of years. The way they were able to get it out faster is they are using a Toyota engine and technology. I'm not sure how much of it is Toyota but it sounds like it has a Ford body with a Toyota drive train.
