Defenders of Wildlife detail the Bush* attack on endangered species
We all know shrub et. al. has been dismantling endangered species protections, and most other environmental protections but this report details it in a way that sinks in.

summary:
Since taking office in 2001, the Bush administration has worked systematically to undermine the Endangered Species Act (ESA), employing a wide variety of tactics to circumvent the clear language of the law and to skew its function in favor of corporate special interests. Defenders of Wildlife's new report, Sabotaging the Endangered Species Act: How the Bush Administration Uses the Judicial System to Undermine Wildlife Protections, examines the approximately 120 federal court decisions resolving ESA issues between January 21, 2001, and October 31, 2003, in which Bush administration officials exerted influence over legal strategy and outcome. Its findings reveal a clear pattern of illegal acts, rigged science and flagrant disregard of court orders that require one simple thing of the federal government: obey the law.
