I think I like the grayscale color mapping best.

Scroll through it frame by frame. After July 27 there's an obviouis change. The ice is breaking up.

10. There are "new" year-round shipping lanes in the Canadian Arctic
Historically they've been open just in July and August; now they're ice-free all year.

We're screwed, basically.
