I've been running it for a few days now, and it hasn't crashed my system, erased my hard-drive, or otherwise misbehaved.

Of course, at the rate things are going, we may all be living through the real thing before anybody's simulations are complete. But it can't hurt!

2. Comes with nifty little graphics
You can actually view the climate model at work and see the earth's temperature, percipitation or other model parameters at a particular point in the life cycle.
