Discovery's "Swamp Loggers"
I saw a promo for this show on Discovery Channel. This has to be the most disgusting thing I've ever seen - clearcutting of cypress forests in North Carolina. Can these people be stopped? Earth First definitely ought to look into the logging firm portrayed in this show.

1. This is what destroyed the habitat of the Ivory-billed wookpecker.
I read the book "The Grail Bird". It describes in some detail how these swamp forests were clear cut throughout the 20th century because everyone regarded them as "worthless" for any other purpose. All replaced now by farmland which is unusually subject to flooding.
