The three projects, Blackspring Ridge (300 MW), Halkirk (150 MW) and Stirling (100 MW) will have a capital cost in excess of CAN $1 billion
, and once completed, will provide a clean source of power to approximately 200,000 Alberta homes. Greengate expects to begin construction on the projects in 2009 or 2010.
