Melbourne scientists have developed a system for cleaning exhaust fumes which they say will not only reduce greenhouse gases, but also produce diamond dust as a useful by-product.

Scientists have developed a device that cuts down on pollutants emitted from car exhaust fumes while it produces carbon that can be made into industrial diamonds, according to a New Scientist magazine report.
