1. He's kind of similar to Ron Paul, in the respect that he's pretty

wingnutty on many topics, but preaches the absolute gospel on one particular issue!!

He's certainly the specific type of Republican that I'm okay with "reaching across the aisle" to work with...it might produce more in terms of trying to influence those on the fence or even slightly skeptical. I'm not the least bit concerned about the "True Believers" (Global Warming Deniers)...they're a lost cause.
