Rep. Dingell (D) is playing politics with our lives. I called his office and they took my concerns seriously. When its 117 in Dingell's town in Michigan maybe he will stop playing games. When its 117 degrees and you have a baby in the house life looks very scary.

I called his office to express my outrage over his ass kissing to the auto industry at the expense to our lives and surprisingly they took me quite seriously. I hope more people call.

This editorial was in the LATimes today:

Once again, the Michigan Democrat is sabotaging energy policy in favor of playing politics

A MILLION YEARS of compression and heat may someday convert Rep. John D. Dingell (D-Mich.) into petroleum, just as it did the other dinosaurs. Unfortunately, by then there may be no humans left to pump a few gallons of Dingell into their Hummers, because the climate change he is so gleefully ignoring may have rendered us extinct.

it's that hot every day in Iraq and they hate us for cutting their power, among many other things.

3. Actually, that LA hot spot was 119. Right HERE, half a mile
from where I sit typing this. Hottest temp ever recorded anytime, anywhere in LA County.

5. From where I was it was recorded at 117. And, I felt sorry for the people in your neck of the valley
I have a friend in Reno, NV and they are having very bad fires. In Reno! There is usually so much water around there from snow and such that fires are rare. Dingell should be removed from office.
