2. But are we buying the actual mortgages? Would the U.S. government have to service them?
Would they PAY the people they bought them from to deal with it?

3. Well, that's the crux of the matter, Hank Paulson doesn't have to tell you any of the details.
So I couldn't possibly comment.

4. Yes, that was my take on it, too. There's nothing concrete at all.
Hell, why don't we just agree to write a personal check to Paulson for $700B and just trust him to do the right thing?
