Some Taco Bell Restaurants Accused Of Child Labor Violations
CHICAGO -- Federal labor officials fined a company operating 25 Taco Bells in Wisconsin $75,735 on Wednesday for employing underaged workers beyond the hours allowed under federal law.

The U.S. Department of Labor said in a statement that Border Patrol Wisconsin Inc. in Madison, Wis., had 14- and 15-year-olds working as late as 4 a.m., as many as 7.75 hours on a school day, as many as 10 hours on a non-school day and as many as 35 hours in a school week. All are violations of federal labor laws.

The violations were spread among the restaurants the company runs in 13 Wisconsin towns.

The biggest violator, according to the government, is the one at 57th and Fond du Lac. It's been fined $5,200. The other one with the heaviest fine is the one at 4117 N. 76th Street.

2. YUM owns Taco Bell
and I've hated them since the selection of Ahnuld and their food thing of beef = Ahnuld and chicken = Gray Davis during the recall.

I was never a patron of theirs on any level as I hate their food. Now it is Mad Cow hell I betcha! :D

I had money invested in YUM and did not know who/what they were (that is why I know this). The money was invested in junk bonds - that is what fuels YUM.

Taco Bell is just another JUNK entity and please remember that!

JUST SAY NO TO YUM BECAUSE IT STINKS LIKE :puke:

:dem: :kick:
