What's the best cash-back rewards credit card?
My husband uses his Discover for business travel and we have always gotten a big chunk back each year. Looks like this year it is much less, although I have not checked to see if the terms have changed but the amount of travel is the same. I would really like to get rid of the Discover since so many places don't take it. I looked on bankrate and didn't see a lot that interested me. Anybody know of any good cards out there? And not just an introductory rate.

2. I use American Express Blue Cash
I get good cash back, no annual fee. I'm pretty sure the rate's in the 11% range, but I haven't ever carried a balance on it.

I use my ATM card at locations that don't take Amex, but that's very rare anymore.

3. discover is not the best
they only pay the best rates if your spend a certain amount of money - it is less otherwise - check the terms
Also must time the quarterly offerings to get 5%

Chase has some that pay %5 on gas but only 1%

4. Problem is that lots of gas-stations are charging extra for credit card purchases now.
Too, one reason why ARCO is cheaper then many gasoline companies is that they don't take plastic.

5. avoid them = arco is one and am/pm which bp is becoming is another
valero is another - they advertise big their price next the guy next to them but it is bait and switch - just remember the names and stay away from them - there are still a number of others out there that don't
