Federal Reserve and Income Tax Movie

There is a movie about the Federal Reserve and the income tax in limited national release,happens to be screening in Tampa where I live.Local Pacifica station WMNF 88.5 interviewed the producer today.The interview was hosted by the news director who was totally unprepared and it degenerated rapidly.

In the past I heard him do another interview and he was unaware of the affinity for Israel by fundamentalist Christians.We need to understand their arguments in order to counter misinformation.Every time I want to send WMNF a donation something like this happens.

We all know that the right prefers regressive taxation, but lesser known is their hatred for the Federal Reserve. Right-wingers hate the Fed because it stabilizes the economy and helps to prevent major depressions. I think they think of wealth in relative terms so seeing other people destitute makes them happy.

I have an interest in conspiracy theorists as psychological case studies.The actual ideas presented in the conspiracy matter less to me than their presentation of theory as fact.Conspiracy theorists spin long winded tales to explain every aspect of the theory because they are uncomfortable with ambiguity,they want to control the chaotic with a narrative.

Some people want to control others and in this society you do that with ideas.They use big issues like government and finance to sound credible and sway people because there is little education about these subjects.People cannot counter their arguments readily and do not understand the psychological motivations behind them.They give them a fair hearing and the benefit of the doubt and do not know they are targets.

Narcissists believe they can control perceptions by manipulating language to a pathological degree.Hollywood,advertising,fashion and news control perception and try not to look pathological but it slips out on the fashion catwalk and talk radio.I see conspiracy theorists as designers and knowledge workers but I do not buy their product.

People need to go beyond debunking the facts of the conspiracy and understand the person presenting the theory.Then when it is determined that they wish to control an audience then the medicine can be understood as poison.If I took a baby spoon and put manure on it and then did the baby spoon airplane with buzz noise I could get a baby to open up and stuff the spoon into its mouth.If I did the same with an adult I would be laughed at or get a sharp kick.WMNF needs to grow up fast because they look crazy eating all this manure.
