The Morals of the Moral Majority (a list)

Ok ... "inspired" by the three stories that happened to pop up at the same time this afternoon on DU showing just how bad the "morals" of the Republican/Moral Majority really are, I decided to try to get them all in one place.

Yes -- bad habit of mine - biting of way more than I can chew. So -- anyway -- before I'd posted my 3rd story (thanx to the 3d story on DU), two other blogs had linked to the new www.RedMorals.com site, anticipating lots of ... well ... dirt.

So -- I know that it's a nearly insurmountable task (and do NOT know exactly what I was thinking, except that I wanted to avoid doing real work for an hour) -- but if anyone has suggestions/links to stories re: Republicans

(a) Breaking the law (literally - including DUIs, DWIs, etc.);
(b) Being Divorced, Gay, having an abortion (or any of the other "values/morals" issues);
(c) Being found in violation of ethics rules, etc.
(d) Saying outrageously hateful, negative, racist, etc. things
(e) ...Etc ...

... please pass them on here or email [email protected]

1. I would argue with some of those: we know DUIs are not a big deal to

ReThugs: Chimp had one, no big deal. LimpBalls illegally procurred (or had procurred for him) prescription drugs; no big deal. Being divorced? Not a big sin for a ReThug: Reagan, Dole, Gingrich, just to name a very few...and Bob Barr, who wrote the "Defense of Marriage Act" likes marriage between a man and a woman so much, he's on his third.
Ethics?? Don't make me laugh! If you are a ReThuglican, practiacally ANYTHING one does to make a buck is fine and dandy. Why else is Kenny-Boy Lay still walking around free? Why is Tom DeLay still walking around free? Why, for that matter, is Chimpy and Cheney the Dick and Asscroft and Condosleaza and Rummy all still walking around free, after starting an illegal war of choice?
And as for outrageously hateful statements, well, shit....we'd be here until the end of the next millenium.
