I went to freerepublic.com and saw comments like,

"Could there be anything more revolting than a french homosexual?"

and realized, my gosh....they hate people they don't even know! In fact, this poster managed to combine 2 hatreds into one simple sentence.

Does this poster know any gay people who are French? How awful and bleak is your world when you wake up every day, centering your brain power on which people to hate.

It's no wonder the deep south is so heavily republican. Hatred for blacks, jews and gays gets these little haters out to the polls for Bush every time.

11. Speaking as someone who knows the other camp...

I can vouch for the hatred they felt toward Clinton, both because he was successful at his job and because he had sexual peccadilloes. My fiance's family is strongly in the Bush camp, and they drip venom when they mention Clinton's name. They are SOOOO set in their way of thinking, they listen only to Rush, O'Leilly and the others, and care not to hear of any truth. I rue the day when they realize their future son-in-law is a liberal, I may have to move to a different state!
