Rogue Fact: Palin suggests "no other candidate" subjected to scrutiny "about their hair, makeup, or clothes"
November 14, 2009 7:30 pm ET — 7 Comments

Sarah Palin writes in her memoir that after it was reported that the Republican National Committee spent $150,000 "to clothe and accessorize" Palin and her family, "many wondered at the same time why no other candidates or their spouses were being asked a thing about their hair, makeup, or clothes." However, John Edwards, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Barack Obama were repeatedly subjected to critiques and questions about "their hair, makeup, or clothes" during the 2008 campaign ... http://mediamatters.org/research/200911140013

1. I agree with her.
It should have been her brain that was scrutinized.

8. Nobody ever talked about Hillary's pantsuits of course
or varying hair styles/ I guess I was dreaming. Thank God that means the big news over her having a cleavage in some outfit wasn't real then
Hey, speaking of that...Hillary has made me a believer in that season color thing... you know where if you are a winter you wear certain colors or if you are a spring you wear others... I never really got it before or thought it made that much difference. It does, I really saw it on her. I don't know what season it makes her but it's one where dark or jewel tone colors are right for you, not pastels.

She looks great in her colors, really vibrant. The pinks and yellows and other pale colors we saw with some frequency before washed her out. Dark blues, red dark green, black...great.

I saw it so now I feel cool that I get this season thing and now I have disproved palin's point by spending all that time on Hillary's clothing selection.

As far as palin she looks best in Alaska and far from my TV. We are going to be seeing her in all the news and I don't look forward to that.

btw I never heard anything about palin's make up or hair but maybe I just didn't pay attention.

10. Or her dumpy legs, or her one wild hairdo....god, do these ppl have
any memory at all??? And what about calling Chelsea Clinton "the White House dog"? I can think of a dozen examples where the RW howled about looks and dress, and that idiot Palin thinks none of it happened?
