CNN sucks
Did anyone catch CNN this morning?
Cafferty was announcing his question of the day, something along the lines of "Could the Misery Index come back and hurt Kerry?".
Soledad and Hemmer were saying something like "people don't want to hear this, they want to hear how you're going to change" blablabla.
I never hear them saying anything critical of Bush, but always critical of Kerry.
freakin beotches

1. Well, they hire direct form Conservative think tanks...

They are right wing, Pentagon TV...trying to out-Fox Fox Snooze..

I just pretend they dont exist now. You can watch one hour of Frontline and learn more than you can from watching 5 years of CNN. Worthless garbage.

2. CNN is the absolute worst of the cable networks!
Considering their competion, that's not easy. On Sunday,Candy Crowley set up shop as a Dumbya emloyee and grilled Ben-Veniste about partisianship over and over. Not one question about the content of the PDB or the disturbing questions it raises. E-mail CNN!

3. I didn't see it
but I read about it on Atrios' blog. They're unbelievable.

Astute Analysis

So, Jack Cafferty just informed us that John Kerry is making a big mistake by pulling out a "misery index" because in 1979 Jimmy Carter did something similar and his focus on the negative aspects of the economy caused him to the lose the subsequent election.

Cafferty didn't bother to point out one key difference... in 1979 CARTER WAS PRESIDENT and thus, you know, could be held responsible for all that malaise.

4. Stop Watching
CNN's whole turn to the right is a strategy to be more like Fox News. Email them and tell them that you're done watching. I did it yesterday, and I meant it. Now that Air America has arrived, I'm simply done with this propaganda. If enough people tell them this is what they're going to do and then actually do it, CNN might rethink its strategy. They're in a ratings war, believe me they want all the viewers they can get.

10. Good Idea
I started watching CNN because I figured they were the least biased 24/7 news channel. I have written several E-mails about their bias. I also sent E-mails to Foxx before they stopped allowing comments. We need to keep the media straight. Move-On floods them with E-mails anytime they spout their bias. I have sent E-mails and written letters on several right-wing comments from local to nationwide media. Sometimes, I even get an answer and an apology. Here goes - I am going to tell CNN off once and for all and then I am going to turn them off until such time as they change their tune!

5. My letter to CNN this morning
Carol Costello interviewed Craig Unger this morning about Saudi nationals being flown out of the US after 9/11. This is an important topic that deserves analysis by informed and intelligent people. I guess that excludes CNN.

Carol's bias against Unger was clear as she treated him as a nutcake conspiracy theorist. At the end of the interview, she took on a condescending tone and remarked that he had a book coming out. Of course the book has been out for awhile now, which even a moderately informed journalist should know.

Moderately informed and journalist excludes Carol, whom I consider to be a vapid news reader. She repeatedly asks stupid and ill informed questions of her guests. Of course CNN knows this, but she looks good, and keeps the White House off your back, so why not? Maybe it would be less offensive to thinking people if you just had Carol read off great new recipes and weight watcher tips.

I have watched my last CNN "News for Dummy's".

7. CNN sucks big time
Unfortunately, my husband is addicted to it. I keep asking him to change the channel. I wouldn't have it on at all.

8. was anyone else watching last night???
Right after shrub* did his speech thing, they had Wolfe Bozo on. He was talking and brought up a guy (Clancey??) from Iraq. Wolfe Bozo started in...The Iraqi people are going to wake up to the news of what the President said. Blah Blah Blah. Then he went into...and the Iraqis were pleased with what the President* said to the nation.

He was announcing the Iraqi's response, before they had even waken up. He flipped it around from, what is the Iraqi's reaction, to THIS is there reaction, so quick, it was kinda hard to catch.

He couldn't have been sucking up to the unelected any more, it was so utterly disgraceful. As they say, what a whore!!!...Kevin.
